Hydraulic Internal Cutter / Mechanical Internal Cutter for tubing , casing
 

The Internal Cutter, Hydraulic Internal Cutter or Mechanical Internal Cutter is used to cut tubing, casing internally. The Mechanical Internal Cutters is composed of Wiper Block (or Drag Spring) assembly for setting in the pipe, Slips and Cone assembly to anchor the cutter, a Main Spring to assist in maintaining uniform feed to the Knives, Knife Blocks to drive the Knives upward and outward to engage the pipe, and precision ground Knives for easy cutting of the pipe.

The hydraulic internal cutter utilizes pump pressure to actuate three carbide-coated knives to cut single and multiple strings of pipe from 4 inches O.D. to 36-inches O.D. Each different size cutter can be dressed with different lengths of knives to cut different sizes of pipe.
